Who’s behind AnnexWise

AnnexWise is built and operated by two lawyers. That is why the product is shaped the way it is: a legal conclusion you cannot audit is not a conclusion, it is a liability — so the classification engine is deterministic, its full rule inventory is public, every verdict carries an engine version and a fingerprint of the answers it was derived from, and genuinely gray calls are flagged for counsel review instead of being silently resolved. No LLM sits in the verdict path. When the law moves — as it did with the July 2026 Omnibus — the rule set is revised, versioned, and every saved assessment learns about the change.

Practice website

Where our role ends — and your counsel’s begins

We are admitted in Israel, not in the EU — and the product is built so that never has to be taken on faith. AnnexWise is compliance software, not a law firm and not your counsel: it structures the classification, the gap analysis and the documentation drafts, and it hands the judgment calls — explicitly flagged — to qualified counsel of your choosing. Every rule it applies is published, so your own lawyers can verify any verdict against the Regulation itself.

This is the same boundary we ask our white-label partners to keep: the engine does the structuring, the signing lawyer owns the advice. If you want to see how that audit works in practice, start with the methodology page (the live rule set, engine v1.4.1, legal state 2026-08-02), the sample dossier, and the security architecture — assessments run in your browser and never reach our servers.
